Not freezing or temperature too warm
The most urgent freezer issue. Usually caused by a failed compressor, dirty condenser coils, a faulty thermostat, or a refrigerant leak. We pinpoint the cause and repair it on the spot.
Excessive frost or ice buildup
A frost-free freezer that keeps icing up has a failed defrost system — usually the defrost heater, defrost thermostat, or defrost timer. We replace the faulty component and test the full defrost cycle before we leave.
Freezer running constantly
If your freezer never cycles off, it's working harder than it should and driving up your electric bill. Typically a door gasket seal failure, a stuck relay, or a temperature sensor issue — all repairable same day.
Water pooling under or inside unit
A blocked defrost drain is the most common cause — melted frost has nowhere to go and overflows onto the floor. We clear the drain and inspect the drain pan and gaskets for secondary issues.
Unusual noises — buzzing, rattling, or clicking
Loud buzzing often points to a failing compressor or relay. Rattling can mean a loose condenser fan. Clicking on startup usually means a faulty start relay. We identify and replace the exact part.
Door seal / gasket not sealing
A damaged or worn gasket lets warm air in continuously, forcing the compressor to overwork and leading to frost buildup. We carry replacement gaskets for most models and can swap them in one visit.
Freezer light not working
Usually a failed bulb or door switch. Quick fix — but we always check that the door switch is also triggering the fan motor correctly, since a stuck switch can cause cooling issues too.
